George Wallace, first Poet laureate of Suffolk Count, is the author of sixteen chapbooks published in the US, UK, and Italy.Winner of the CW Post Poetry Prize, Wallace is the editor of poetrybay. com and poetryvlog. com. An author whose work has been translated into French, Spanish, Italian, German, Korean, Bengali, Russian, and Macedonian, he has traveled extensively to perform his work and to teach poetry workshops. He hosts monthly poetry readings at The Bowery Poetry Club, NYC and The Poetry Café at The Conklin Barn, Huntington.

The Walt Whitman Birthplace will be on your right surrounded by wood fence. Southern State Parkway - To Exit 32N (Route 110 North). Go north approximately 10 miles on Route 110.
