About Maverick Duck Press:
Maverick Duck Press was founded in 2005 to help give a voice to undiscovered talent in poetry. We are a small chapbook press that publishes limited run, saddle stapled chapbooks. We look for fresh and cutting edge talent with an eye for detail and a powerful voice. Our books are available through this website and via readings from the authors. We do not have the ability to mass distribute like the big publishers, but we'd like to think that we are doing this for art's sake.

Submission Guidelines
All chapbook manuscripts should be in Word format and contain at least 20 poems within them. Poets should submit their best work, as the chapbook is a body of work that reflects the poet's style and personality. No simultaneous submissions. No previously published manuscripts/books, however, a manuscript may contain poems within it that have been published in print or online journals. Keep in mind that we are looking for fresh, interesting undiscovered poets. Due to the large amount of submissions we receive, a response in regards to your manuscript could take up to three months.
